Calde Tex is a brand of refractory materials, and its specifications vary depending on the product, such as mortar or castable. Calde Tex mortar is a ready-to-use, air-setting, high-strength, high-alumina mortar for furnace linings, with a maximum service temperature of 1500∘C1500 raised to the composed with power cap C1500∘𝐶 or 1300∘C1300 raised to the composed with power cap C1300∘𝐶, and a typical cold bonding strength of 121212 kg/cm² after drying. Calde Tex castable has a lower maximum service temperature of 1100∘C1100 raised to the composed with power cap C1100∘𝐶 and is used in furnaces.
